VINTAGE CAR PARTS : I am now planning to sell the real estate. I need the car partsremoved *now*. I have contacted the "friend" and he continues tooffer excuses and postponements until it is more convenient for him.I am tired of waiting, not to mention that waiting would delay thesale of my property. I'd like this to end as quickly as possible --regardless of the convenience of the "friend".What are my options? A collector has expressed an interest in theparts and has offered to take them away. Am I within my rights toallow the collector to haul it away? If not, then what other optionsdo I have?You can compromise, somewhat:Remove the pieces and put them in one of those temporary storage places. Send your friend a certified letter (with return receipt that indicates it was received - hang on to the receipt) letter stating that the articles that you have requested that he remove have been removed as per your previous discussions, and he now must pay you for each month of storage in order to retrieve the articles. Further state that he has (30, 60, 90) days to arrange for retaking possession of the items or they will be considered "abandoned", then sell them to the collector and pay off any remaining balance for the storage unit - give the rest of the money for the parts to your friend if you want to preserve the friendship (and be sure to explain that you had little choice but to remove the articles and could not afford to carry the cost of his storage unit for him).
VINTAGE CAR PARTS : But, you might want to discuss the ramifications with the attorney you hire for your real estate sale (yes, you should have one that's working just for you).Putting the junk in a storage facility is going to put you on the hookfor the fees, not your friend.1. Send him a certified letter stating that he has X number of days toremove the junk from your premises or you will seek legal remedies.2. At the end of the time period, see an attorney to find out exactlywhat you have to do to avoid any cause of action against you in yourendeavor to rid yourself of your friend's junk.Compromise? Not with this "friend." You have to play hardball with thisguy.To be on the safe side, I would notify him in writing, delivered in person or bycertified mail, return receipt, that unless the parts are removed by [reasonabledate in the future], I would consider the parts as having been abandoned and Iwould dispose of them as I see fit.

Includes over 50 springs of each of6 different sizes and colors. 40 base strips, gage for measuring hole size,breaking tool for base strips and t-bolts, and about 30 super universal T-Boltswith nuts. See samples scanned in. Directions for using parts are included. The partitioned box is very sturdy andis reinforced with wood pieces. I'll try to answer any questions. Pair (2) Heavy Duty Reflectors NOS - From the 1950's. This is a never used oldstock item. Each reflector is made of glass with a metal rim, backing andbracket. Each weighs approximately a quarter of a pound. All look to be inperfect shape and comes in its original box. The box is dirty but otherwise ingood shape. Many non-automotive applications possible.

(replaces Ford Part No. B9TF-13405C) 12 -Volts; Auto LampManufacturing Co.; 2909 Indiana Ave. Chicago 16, Illinois White Wheel Well Protectors from the 1940's and 1950's - New old stock Neverused. These are white, heavy duty rubber, wheel well protectors guards from the'40's or '50's. They are in perfect condition, but could use a good cleaning.There are 2 wheel well protectors with 4 brass brackets and 4 brass screws. Theinside of the wheel well protectors have 4 nubs that the brackets fit on.
VINTAGE CAR PARTS : The wheel well protectors are each 23 inches long and at their widest are 6 1/4inches. Tapering to the opposite end. Two views have been scanned. (NOS) New Old Stock (never used) 1930's - 1940's Universal License Platebracket. There are 4 pieces of hardware with 4 sets of bolts and nuts. They areall in mint condition. The box has some wear and is dirty. The box is markeditem 176; The Kilborn-Sauer Company, Fairfield, Connecticut, Made in the U.S.A.The box has instructions for all cars with Splash Guards. For use on all carsprior to 1941, there are instructions for Bumper Mounting. I was told thatthese also fit 1920's cars.This item is for a pair (2) 1940 Plymouth/Dodge ball joints. The box they werein says Ball Joints, No. 652; Esco Motive Products Co., 200 Lincoln Ave., NewYork 54, NY. The number 855441 is stamped on the box.
