USED CAR PARTS : Does anyone happen to know if it's possible to successfully sue the individual who sold me a used car that's been giving me nothing but problems since I bought it from him several weeks ago in Pittsburgh. The BIll of Sale says "As is", but I suspect that he knew about the problems before he sold it to me.If someone sells a car "as is", isn't that supposed to be a redflag that you're supposed to have nothing but trouble with it? Ithought "as is" was about equivalent to saying that everything iswrong with EXCEPT what was specifically stated.If you can demonstrate that the bill of sale misrepresented a pileof random parts from an auto scrapyard as "a used car", you probablyhave a case. Otherwise I suspect you don't.
