SLOT CAR PARTS : - brushes (need at least 4 pairs)- brush springs (need at least 4 pairs)- pickups shoes (NEW ones) (need at least 6 pairs)- pickup shoe springs (need at least 8 pairs)- front tires (need at least 4 pairs)- idler gears (need 2, with the larger hole - older style?)- crown gears (need at least 3)I need these parts to complete some partial chassis, to make repairs tosome existing complete cars, and to help build up my spare stock.I could also use some bodies. I'm looking for "runners", not collectorcondition bodies. My track is a pure road course, so what I'd like toget are Cam-Am, Grand Prix, Trans-Am, NASCAR, and similar road racingtype cars (drag cars, off-road, etc, just don't "fit in" at my track).I'd like them to be in decent condition, but NOT mint condition (don'twant to pay for mint bodies and then mess them up by racing them).

It contains an articleby John Hill, and it is apparent that in 1979 slot cars were perhaps at theirlowest level of popularity. Themagnets were soft, and could be trimmed with an x-acto knife. As far asupdates, I can't help.Trinity has gone on the make RC car motors. Quite good ones in fact, I havea 1/10 scale gas and electric stocker. As for the others I do not know.
