I first got a Bigfoot truck to run around in the pits before races. That got old quick, and I bought an offroad RC10.Major fun, but no tracks to run on around here made that get old too. :(I was at a local sports store on Sunday though, and they were running thegas powered street cars on a LeMans type track. Mondo cool! Those thingswere hitting 45MPH or so. I was major impressed. Oh geez, not me, I sucked. Run one of those things into a curb at a 45 degree angle and you just spent a hunnybuck. Yikes! I sold all my stuff to pay for a port job. :| Sometimes I wish I had it all back.

Istill think i am getting off cheaper with the bike. I have had the bike for 2 years and am still competitive, RC cars are outdated every new model year!Rec.Models.rc.land......But beleive me, it is not nearly as much fun. I gotboared real quick. RC CAR PARTS : I suspected as much but I really want liquid cooling so I was willing tochance looking stupid... ;)I had DRS CustomWorx make parts out of 6AL/4V Grade 5 Titanium alloy for myTraxxas Nitro 4Tec Pro. The original parts were cold hardened steel and Ishaved .8 ounces from my drive train after using these parts and PowerLineslight weight aluminum flywheel. The cost of the titanium alloy and CNC laborwasn't cheap but the payoff was well worth the investment. I had to use tallergears since the engine spooled up much quicker. The end result is fasteracceleration exiting corners and afterburner back straights. I have not used aradar gun to clock my new speeds but the car is definately faster than before.Only downside was I had to adjust my Futaba 3PJS to gradually apply fullthrottle when exiting turns else my foam tires started going up in smoke. RC CAR PARTS : # Second attempt at sending, this time through another ISP, so pleaseforgive# if another message like this appears one day....I'm about to join this hobby and I'm looking forward to buying my first R/CHelicopter. However I cannot decide between a 30-size engined helicopter andan electric motored helicopter. I've put some arguments below if you care toread but I'd really like your help in deciding which is best.Without further influence I'd go for an electric machine (I have an "ECConcept SR" model in mind which the manufacturer claims can do 3Daerobatics) so really your job will be to convince it's a baaaaad move!!Bear in mind too that I'm an absolute beginner so 3D aerobatics are some wayoff but the extra power needed for 3D flying means for me there's powerenough to support a light camera. Getting the thing to go up and down, moveforwards, and turn left or right in a controlled manner will be joy enoughfor the first year...!
