RALLY CAR PARTS : Buy what is being raced locally if you intend to race or buy whatever you likeif you just want to blast around..You'll be luck to find a rally track, off road buggy tracks jumps aretoo big. you could always get a touring car and adjust it to run offroad as well.look in the newest RC Car, they reviewed all the elctric rally (most) cars thatseem note worthy.If you want to kick up a lot of dust, then I would say that a baseballinfield could work. You could even "run the bases" if you wanted to stand on the pitchers mound and spin in a circle. I would look for a hardpack surface instead.A rally car is a Touring Car plus a few parts to keep dirt out. The HPI RS4Rally is more rally specific but still can be converted in a well performing200mm Touring car with new tires and suspension adjustments. With a fewspare parts you can tranform a Rally car in a Touring car within a fewminutes.

They are on the web at .I deal with them because they are local (for me), so I can'tspeek to their shipping and response to online orders. Inperson at their shop, they give good service.They spun off the other part of their business which wasfuel cells, guages, and various racing oriented plumbing andhardware. That's now on the web at.I'd recommend building a cage in your car from steel tubing.If you lack the equipment to bend the parts, I think I stillhave a pattern for the A2 golf. About 8 to 10 years ago, Iraced a 1986 Golf. When I bought it it had a bolted in cage.I replaced it with a completely welded cage. If you'reinterested in some cage parts, e-mail me.
RALLY CAR PARTS : Having said all this, I strongly recommend that you shoparound and _buy_ a _used_ rally car that is alreadyprepared. As an alternative, you might buy a used ImprovedTouring race car that can be easily converted for rallying.You might even find somebody who has a rally car that youcan _rent_ for an event or two to see if you really want tomake the jump into that scene.You can always buy a used race or rally car for much lessthan the person spent building it. That should tell you acouple things about the market there. First, if you buildyour own, you're going to lose money when you sell yourcreation. You'll always sell it, because you'll have betterideas of how to build the next one even better.
