I have an old three wheel pedal car made by mattel in the mid 1960s called the X-15 that I would like to restore. It steers with the back wheels and is coltroled by a joystick. it also has real "Varoom sound"!Give me a day, I'll look up an address from Toy shop Magazine, there are afew.I would also like to find parrts for old pedal cars. PEDAL CAR PARTS : I AM IN NEED OF CLUTCH PARTS FOR MY 390 LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING AT ALL FOR MY69 MUSTANGLINKAGE EXHAUST MAINFOLDS CLUTCH PARTS Most Mustang parts vendors carry the clutch linkage parts you need forthe car. They are the same as the 428 parts. The frame bracket,equalizer (Z-bar), adjustment rod and clutch fork are all available.Complete clutch kits are available anywhere you purchace car partslocally. The under dash parts would need to come from a donor vehicle ifyour converting the car from an automatic. I strongly recommendreplacing the clutch pedal shaft bushings. Use a rebuild kit made justfor this purpose if needed. Many times the plastic inserts wear out andthe steel shaft galls on the pot metal bushings that are pressed intothe pedal support. Once this happens you need to replace the metalbushings and the shaft. The kit has all the needed parts. If all youneed are the plastic inserts, they are still available from Ford.
PEDAL CAR PARTS : The exhaust manifolds are a whole other story. The 390GT motors changeda little each year they were offered from '66-'69. The '69 motor waschanged quite abit from its earlier brothers. The exhaust manifolds areno exception. You'll get away with the common C7OZ-9431-A manifold onthe left side,but the right side changed from year to year. To be reallycorrect you need to have the C9OZ-9430-B on the right side of theMustang. I imagine that you could put just about any 390GT manifold onthe right side and it should work since the '67 part on the left wasunchanged in the Mustang from 67-69. Correct exhaust manifolds are nevercheap. Semo Classic Mustang, Perogie Enterprises, Bill Herndon, andothers should all or can get the 390GT manifolds. Scoring that one off'69 manifold for the right side should be a challenge though. Getting a390 bellhousing for the car that will work should be not too much of aproblem.

Info such as, dates produced, advertisements, who made them, etc.There seems to be very little information on the web about these, exceptthat they were made by AMF and sold for $12.95 or so.I want one for my daughter. However, there is acompany reproducing the car and parts for the originals. They are quiteexpensive. I think they run around $500.
