Plus down the road the with yourrepairs you may find some secrets that the car has not told you aboutyet.. What state do you live in??In Western Ohio, near Dayton, north of Cinnci, and west of Columbus....LOL know'bout where I am ?That sounds like a better deal then fixing up the one you alreadyhave. You could even put the motor you already have into the onethat's missing one and have two running cars. And the BIG thing is youalready know what to look for as far as problems with the newprospects go. You know check them over REAL GOOD!!!!!!

That first '73 ($1400) sounds like a POS that has been molested beyondhope by a PO who ought to be working on snowmobiles in Costa Rica!I'd same the money I'd spend on blots and go get the other two cars.For short term, you may be able to rent a spot in a "u-store-it" type ofplace for a month. That should be enough time to determine what parts youneed, have room to keep, and change over the necesary stuff from the"junker" to the "keeper".....Nick....just one question....you bought the beetle from a car lotright??...well why the hell didn't you return the POS once you found out itwasn't even close to being safe and inspectable??

With just a bit of care it would be really nice.1972 VW Squareback, automatic transmission, F.I., orange Not currently running, but could with a little work. Body sound, very little rust, dent in center of passenger door.1973 VW Squareback, manual transmission, F.I., yellow This car is running and in fair condition. The engine and running gear is in very good shape.

Consider this a parts car.In addition he has almost anything you can think of in the way ofsalvaged Type III parts: doors, glass, seats, electrical, engines andparts, lenses, fuel injection, transmissions, brakes, wheels,mufflers.There is even a very good condition '73 pan. If he doesn't have it, Iprobably do. Lots of small parts from 66-73.If you need them, I can rebuild brake calipers, wheel cylinders, master cylinders (some new ones in stock, too), distributors, speedometers, gas gauges, you name it.The only thing we don't have are nice rust free front fenders.These parts are all in south central Wisconsin. UPS works for smalleritems; pickup would be best for the others, although if you want something bad enough it can be shipped.
