OLD CAR PARTS : Looking to buy a 1927 Dodge Brothers Sedan but it has the air cleaner asembly missing. How do I find the correct parts for old cars of this vintage? Also looking at a 1921 Dodge Brothers Touring car. May need more parts after looking at the cars. They are many states away and I have not looked them over yet but am very interested in buying them. It is readily available at most well-equipped book stores and carries thousands (tens of thousands?) of ads for parts sources, on a monthly basis. They also have a web site. A. B. Where mysubdivision was built was in an old farmers field. We live in the back of theold field, by the tree line. I imagine that what we found was just the farmersold car that just got pushed to the back of the field when he had no use forit. Somewhere along the way (maybe the builder) buried the remains. I'vechecked out the satellite images on back to yearsbefore the subdivision were built. Don't see any junkyard or any other carssitting there!

I suspect the Chevy owner and I have something in common : location (Iguess he lives in Africa, and I live in Italy) and we have old cars forwhich we need spare parts (mine is a 36 Ford restored and bought inArgentina and shipped to Europe). Since neither of us can buy Hemmings atour newstands, I wonder if you could be a little more specific on where we(or at least I) can order spare parts from the U. S.

There are many vendors in the US competing to sell you reproduction, used, and NOS parts for popular antique cars. So, when we say,"check Hemmings", there's a good reason for that - it's the very best place to start.Hemmings does have overseas subscriptions available. Europe is $165 US per year.
