For only 17,500 more, there is a local '65 that's been chassised andcaged, running an alloy-headed 514 with a BDS blower and NOS system.He's claiming 1200 hp on the spray, and had has 8.30's time slips. If you like it, bag it.Having personally seen cars that many west coasters call "junk" andhaving to piece one car together out of two or three because of severerust, just let me speak for those of us living in the rust belt andtell you that ANY real car guy from around here would offer up hisleft nut for a relatively clean (body rust wise) west coast/dryclimate car as a starting point. Also, the 1000 dollars it sometimes costs to get your nearly rustfree cars out here (via open transport) is well, well worth it tothose of us sick of using torches and penetrating oil to fight withrotted and rounded off hardware everytime they work on their cars.I searched BC for 2 years looking for a 69 fastback that was rust freeunderneath, I finally found one on Vancouver Island. I looked at a lot ofcars that the owners claimed to be rust free but they never were. My brothertook digital photos of some that were for sale and sent them to me. rustedshocktowers, paint bubbling all over the place but advertised as a rust freeclassic .Most of these guys wanted 9-12000 cdn $ for these wrecks too!(12000cdn $ is $7500 American) So although I didn't get a 'real' mach 1 like I wasafter I did get a nice rust free fastback that just oozes pure muscle as itdrives down the road.
INTERIOR CAR PARTS : Parting out a 1988 Toyota Supra. It came with almost all options including Turbo, TEMS, ABS Anti-Lock Brakes, Targa Top Sun-Roof and Leather Seats. The color of the exterior and interior car is burgandy.Lot of parts still left. Interior is in good to excellent condition except the leather on the front seats. The car has no rust. All fenders and quarter panels are still available including the Liftgate and Targa Top. The drivers side rear quarter panel is the only panel that has any damage.
