GOLF CAR PARTS : I'm trying to get my wife to join an after work ladies league so I'm tryingto find away to make it easier for her to get the clubs out of the car andup to the first tee.On Thu, 03 Apr 2003 02:29:25 GMT, "Rand Smith" wrote:You could get her a real lightweight carry bag, and that might make iteasier for her to get it out of the car. I've never left my bagattached to the cart, whether it was the old pullcart or my SpeedCart, just because it's a good deal clumsier to lift it out. If you have orgot a vehicle with a back hatch that opens to a flush deck, (a van oran SUV, I guess) then I suppose sliding the package out would work OK.Lifting it in might be a challenge.Sun Mtn makes an accessory pouch for the SpeedCart which might takethe place of some of the pockets on a larger, heavier bag for her, ifthat's a consideration. The bag still goes on the cart with just two straps...there's a braketo keep the cart from moving while you're loading the bag on, and thenit's an easy trip to the tee, unless there are stairs or a very steephill.

GOLF CAR PARTS : Lincoln Town Car has a huge trunk. Got one as an upgrade from Hertz when Iwent on vacation in Hawaii. Had my clubs in a hard case and they fit withplenty of room.On Wed, 02 Apr 2003 06:39:11 GMT, "Mike Bowen" wrote:Yeah, you could tote bodies in those things - not that I'd know... :)I drive a '97 Volkswagen Golf, which can accomodate four carry bags inthe trunk if you know how to put them in there. I always have a loadof computer parts and two full bags in there during the summer, andthere's plenty of room to spare. (It also can hold 8 full-sizedcollege students - without the use of the trunk. Not highlyrecommended.) The Jettas have absolutely cavernous trunks - you couldeasily get the bags and carts in there without an issue.

GOLF CAR PARTS : (and for everyone who is thinking "Yeah, but they're German" - well, they're made in Mexico, so that sure says N.A. made to me. :)If you're that worried about it, bring in a bag on a cart when you goto the showroom. They'll be more than happy to let you try it out.Pretty much every single car except for most of the compacts andsub-compacts should be able to handle two with the cart...Todd McGillivray - Emailing me? tmcg at sasktel dot net"Forget your stupid theme park! I'm gonna make my own, with hookers! And blackjack! In fact, forget the theme park!"-- Bender, FuturamaH2 .............Hummer."The Rev" wrote in message...I drive a Corvette C5 coupe and regularly carry two cart bags with collapsedpull carts under the hatch back. I have a cargo cover that conceals the clubsfrom sight.

GOLF CAR PARTS : I have an 88 Golf 1.8L that is having some very strange oil pressureproblems. The light and the buzzer will come on at 2200 rpm and stay onuntil rpms are increased to 2300+. The light flickers at idle, but thebuzzer does not come on.Oil is full and relatively fresh (20w-50). Oil pressure sensors are new(high and low) Oil pump is new. What am I missing? Any response would begreatly appreciated. Are you sure the sensors were installed correctly ( like not switched)? if they're OK here's the drill:key on, engine not running indicator should flash. Pull the blue / blackwire off the sensor and ground it. Indicator must flash. If not problem is in the wiringor in the dashcontroller module.Key on, engine running indicator should be off. If flashing pull the blue /black wire.If light goes off and YOU KNOW the oil pressures good (check withmechanical gauge) you have a bad sensor.

GOLF CAR PARTS : Key on at 2000-2500 RPM light should not flash and buzzer should not sound.Pull the yellow wire from the sensor and leave it ungrounded, indicator andbuzzer should be active. If you then ground the wire the warnings should cease. If youreconnect the wire and the 1.8 bar (high pressure) switch starts the warning system up againyou've got a bad switch. If no joy there make sure the connector to the dynamic oil sensor systeminside the dash hung off the speedometer is tight.-- BGBrian Gibson wrote in article...I have an 88 Golf 1.8L that is having some very strange oil pressureproblems.
