EUROPEAN CAR PARTS : You missed one, a station wagon. Depending on the parts and the store I'vehad to refer to my '77 Westy as any one of the four. You do have to beclear that its not a bug. I find parts guys who don't know VWs tend to getconfused by all the terms and sort of default to a bug.Unfortunately, in those types of auto parts stores, any *hard* parts you getare very likely to not fit accurately or be of as high quality as the onesstocked by an auto parts store that specializes in, if not aircooled VW's,at least European cars. Any parts store that specializes in European carparts that has survived for very many years at all, is stocking the correctstuff (hopefully!) It is at least stacking the deck more to your favor todeal with people who have experience in this field.
