I installed this on my Grand Wagoneerwith an AMC 360 and it made a world of difference in smooth idle andapplication of power. If I'm not mistaken, that's the samebasic engine as the 360, isn't it?Don't get the Accel wires. They are a PITA to get set up properly, and I'veheard from several people that they may not last that long. Get the OEMford truck wires. They should work fine. You will also have to mod yourcoil bracket to hold the TFI coil (it's rectangular). Brushes, bearings,diodes, windings, I guess that's about it. A cheap multimeter and a goodpair or eyes and ears can check all of these. A little knowledge saves alot of money. "Back on the farm" we had to be able to swear up and downthat an alternator was bad before the boss would OK the trip to town to geta rebuilt unit. I could preach to you some more if you would like...
CAR PARTS STORES : Zymol is awesome. But you have to wipe it off twice. Put it on and wipeit off once. Then when you are done with your car, you need to spritzthe car with water (get one of those plant sprayers) and wipe it off again.The first time I used it I had the same problem, and thought it was crap.Then I read the instructions. My only problem with it, is since it istotally natural mold forms on the surface when it sits for awhile.
